ENRICHED PROTEINS

Enriching proteins with different fractions allows us to increase specific benefits in the human body. Fractions with better amino acid composition will aid in muscle synthesis and maintain lean tissue. Certain fractions work to improve brain and nervous system functions that could improve coordination and mobility.

HYDROLYZED

“Predigested” proteins that human bodies can absorb quickly are created through our advanced hydrolysis processes. The resulting di- and tripeptides enter the body faster to help maintain muscle and strength as well as body composition. The enzymatical hydrolysis produces a mixture of peptides and free amino acids for enhanced functional and nutritional benefits.

FUNCTIONAL

These whey protein concentrates and whey protein isolates provide additional functional capabilities in various food applications where additional proteins are desired. These functional proteins may provide heat stability at neutral or low pH due to specially designed processes.

 

BASE

Whey protein concentrates and whey protein isolates that are not further modified are included in our base proteins. WPC typically contains 70-80% protein with some lactose/carbohydrates and fat still present. WPI is processed further and contains 90% protein or higher with less lactose/carbohydrates and fat than WPC, making it more purified. Both are a good source of high quality protein to improve overall health and well-being.
